"Excellent place for a small venue, grad party, family gathering, small parties. Relaxed atmosphere, parking around back, outdoor patio. They do have a bar however that is closed off for members only. If renting the hall for small gatherings you do not need to be a member. Very clean inside and out. I would definitely recommend and inquire what other rentals they have."

"Elks lodge is a good place to hold an event. We threw a baby shower this weekend and the room was plenty big enough. Lots of tables & chairs. The kitchen is abundant."

"FISH DINNER DEBACLE Waited 1.5 hours and never got served our fish dinner. We left. Spoke to lady at front desk that they were filling take-out orders left and right, but everyone dining inside was still waiting. The cocky, smug lady defended them by saying that a call-in customer is just as much as a customer as one who dines in. Ok. But... The ones who were waiting in were the ones being told to leave because they ran out of food. And a good number of them were waiting to order for quite a while. I am sure they didn't turn away call in orders! They seemed to be a priority. No one recognized that there was a cluster flock of a problem. There was no one managing the situation. Most of the dine in guests were sitting at their tables with nothing to eat. Yet, we kept watching orders being delivered to the lobby for pickup. It became a joke amongst the guests. “Will these orders be ours?” Nope. There were around 12 dinner guests who did get food, but they were seated after we were. They told us the orders went in chronologically as they were being taken. Really? Many guests were there for 30 minutes with no one to take their order. The lady who was taking orders disappeared for 15 minutes. None of the Elk folks could find her. She later came back and started to take orders from people who arrived much later than we did. When she was going around taking orders, she kept passing up four tables of people who were trying to flag her down. She said we only waited one hour for our order (one hour too long) but probably failed to key it in. We ordered at 6:11 and left at 7:40. She said we ordered at 6:30. Also, when two people left from a table of four, they would ask for a party of 2 waiting in line to sit down, thus jumping ahead of a party of 4 waiting in line. They would not let a table of 4 clear first before sitting a party of 4 who were waiting in line much longer. One party of 4 had three parties of 2 get seated before them. If we called in, someone would have taken our order immediately, and we could have picked up our dinners and walked into the dining room and sat down without having to wait. Why not? A call-in customer is just as much as a customer as a dine in customer. Right? At least we would have gotten our food. Not going back. The venue took in more customers than it could serve. They made a lot of people go home hungry. Advice: Go to a fish fry buffet. Get your food, pay, and then sit down to eat. Voila! It is a better system than this cluster flock."

"We were there for a reverse raffle. Had a good meal and some fun. Happy to help a good fund raiser. The room is all hard surfaces and just reflects the sound leading to everyone getting louder and louder. Doing something about that would make hearing the PA much easier."
